CHALLENGE

Selling pizza to college kids isn't a new idea. But HotBox Pizza was determined to build a brand that outshined others in the business. MediaSauce was eager to take on the challenge.

ASSESSMENT

While developing and launching a new brand was an obvious first step, MediaSauce recognized an opportunity to establish a customer-base that was as excited about the brand as they were about the product. With this kind of following, the brand could experience rapid growth and quickly expand into other markets.

STRATEGY

Using the right interactive tools, MediaSauce was able to create an online following of “Box Stars” that numbered in the thousands. With unique live and web-based promotions, special events and consistent messaging, this enthusiastic customer-base played an active role in shaping the HotBox brand.
